The Dubai Metro has 2 lines — the Red Line and the Green Line — which interchange at Union and BurJuman stations in central Dubai.
First trains run around 05:00 (Mon–Sat) and last trains around 00:00 (Mon–Thu/Sat) / 01:00 (Fri). Frequencies are 3–4 min during peak hours and 5–7 min off-peak.
A single ride for 1 zone costs AED 3 and is valid for 60 minutes. Children under 5 ride free; students and seniors get discounted Nol cards.
Yes, every Nol card and ticket is valid on the Metro, RTA buses, the Dubai Tram and water buses within the same fare zones.
