The easiest way — buy and validate on your mobile. Apple Wallet/Google Pay supported.
Ticket vending machines
At every Dubai Metro station, payment by card or mobile.
Kiosks and supermarkets
Retailers across Dubai — including Carrefour, Zoom and other outlets — sell and top up Nol cards.
Nol card
Top up a physical Nol card and tap at the gates when entering and exiting.
Discounts and special tickets

Useful tips
- Always tap your Nol card at the gate when entering and exiting the station.
- If you travel often, a Silver Nol travel pass pays off after about 8 trips.
- The 1-day pass (AED 20) gives unlimited travel on the Metro, RTA buses, the Dubai Tram and water buses within Zone 1.
- Inspectors can ask for tickets during the journey — always carry one.
- Use the RTA Dubai app to see live arrivals for every line and plan your route.
