About Red Line
Red Line — also known as Centrepoint ↔ Expo 2020 / Life Pharmacy — runs from Centrepoint at one end to Expo 2020 at the other, connecting 35 stations. It interchanges with the Green Line at Union and BurJuman stations in central Dubai.

The Red Line opened on 9 September 2009 with just 10 stations — the first metro line in the Arabian Peninsula. The Route 2020 extension to Expo City Dubai (5 new stations) opened in 2020 ahead of Expo 2020 Dubai. The Dubai Metro is also recognised as the world's longest fully automated, driverless metro network.
